What do you normally do for a colleague who has resigned for greener pastures or other reasons like furthering their studies, spending more time with their family, etc? I guess the usual thing would be to have a meal together, normally on personal expense or someone will buy a card & everybody will sign their well wishes on it. Some might buy a small gift & close colleagues will chip in to share the cost.
Have we reaches the stage where we are comfortable to buy undies as a going-away gift? Actually, I'm more interested to know how come people know what size to buy! Hahaha. Men surely don't talk about size when we are chilling over a mug of beer or having dinner (I think).
